Back again. Now i want to try write something about Sitemap. Sitemap for SEO. Yes, it is one of search engine optimization factor. Site map (or sitemap) is a list of pages of a web site accessible to crawlers or users. In its simplest form, a Sitemap is an XML file that lists URLs for a site along with additional metadata about each URL (when it was last updated, how often it usually changes, and how important it is, relative to other URLs in the site) so that search engines can more intelligently crawl the site. This will helps visitors and search engine bots find pages on the site.
Google and the other search engines rely mainly on their bots and web crawlers to discover new pages around the web. it help them in some situations, but they are not compulsory nor necessarily beneficial.
Sitemaps are particularly beneficial on websites where:

1. some areas of the website are not available through the browsable interface.
2. webmasters use rich Ajax, Silverlight, or Flash content that is not normally processed by search engines.
3. Your site has a large archive of content pages that are not well linked to each other, or are not linked at all. (according to Google itself, they said that Googlebot crawls the web by following links from one page to another, so if your site isn’t well linked, it may be hard for us to discover it.)

How to generate sitemap?

It’s according to your site or blogging platform. Blogger was generate rss/xml as the sitemap, and people usually submit it into webmasters tools. and for wordpress, there are a lot of sitemap generator that can use to make it.

When i was launched blog, there is one question in my mind. Can it be become a great blog? Can i get successful blogging? Yes, it’s naturally. Almost people want their blog become a rock. Get a lot of traffic and receive some extra money. But, there are a lot of things to do to make it come true. There are a few pieces of advice that tend to come as standard when you look for help with blogging. “Write compelling content”, “network in your niche”, and “stay consistent” are probably the most common words of wisdom you’ll receive. “Pick the right niche” ranks right up there with them as well. But, it’s not enough. There are a millions blog out there. The competition now become harder.

How to get successful blogging?

Like i said that the competition are become stronger to get successful blogging. We must do the right things from the beginning. Don’t ever thing that it’s not have an effect, even it’s just a small kind. Research and analysis before you make a decisions. “Spend little bit more time, or you will spend a lot of time in the future”. Someone told me to consider a several points when start my new blog, like blog niche, SEO, blog structure and many else. Now, i want to share it now.

1. Choose the right niche.
   In the case of blogging, usually just means that you should pick a topic you’re passionate about, which also happens to have a large audience. It’s advice I’ve given myself throughout the years and I still see it on many blogs today.
2. Choose the right domain name.
   It’s time to thing about domain when you have selected niche. Try to put the niche in the domain. for example, it’s will be a good idea to choose domain for your blogging that have technology within when you selected “technology” as a topic.
3. Install SEO.
   

   Search engine optimization is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Other forms of search engine marketing (SEM) target paid listings. In general, the earlier (or higher on the page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines (ref.wikipedia)

   Set up the title, keyword, submit sitemap, install SEO Plugin, use wordpress themes or blogger template with SEO friendly and many else. Good SEO mean you will good traffic for your site.
4. Build the blog structure.
   Have you go to some place where it is the first time to go there? Yeah, you will need a directions, street signs and another else. It similar for blog. Visitor or search engine need a directions to explore our blog. Some people installed nice site navigation that will help visitor find what they need. For search engine, they generate sitemap.
5. Make a schedule.
   Set a schedule for writing content – just do it already! Someone speaking there is no exact time to write a post. But it is good to make a schedule for posting and writing articles. The benefit is that your followers can expect a post on the particular time and it helps increase the traffic as your blog gets more lively. Discipline is important to get successful blogging
