iOS jailbreaking, or simply jailbreaking, is the process of removing the limitations imposed by Apple on devices running the IOS operating system through use of custom kernels. Such devices include the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and 2nd Gen Apple TV. Jailbreaking allows users to gain full access (or root access) to the operating system, allowing IOS users to download additional applications, extensions, and themes that are unavailable through the official Apple App Store, via installers such as Cydia. Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 can be used to Jailbreak IOS 4.3.1 (untethered) on your iPad. Just follow the below instructions to jailbreak your iPad:
Note: Before following the below guidelines, bear in mind that if you rely on ultrasn0w unlock, then you must avoid using Redsn0w.

Step#2: At this point check mark “Install Cydia” and tap on next.
Step#3: Now make sure that your iPad is simultaneously switched off and plugged into your PC, then tap on next and put your iPad in DFU mode by acting upon the on-screen guidelines:

Now let Redsn0w do the rest! Once your iPad reboots automatically it will be fully jailbroken (untethered) on IOS 4.3.1 firmware.
